STILL LIFE WITH POMEGRANATES, c. 1960s
Oil on canvas
Signed
20 x 30 inches
Provenance: Private collection
Note: Clarisse Loxton Peacock (1928-2004) was an admirer of the painter Morandi and concentrated in her own art on still life - of flowers, bowls, birds, even the occasional cat. Her compositions showed the particular gifts she had as a colourist, both bold and vivid.
