Note: Cicely Hey was friendly with Roger Fry through her marriage to the art writer Robert Tatlock and Fry encouraged Hey's membership of the London Group in the 1920s. Fry also had examples of Hey's drawings in his own collection. Hey's portrait of Fry was exhibited at Arthur Tooth's gallery in London.
