The Artist's Estate

Note: Frank Hughes (1905-1987) was a significant English mid-century painter known for his atmospheric nocturnes, landscape oil paintings, and active role in the 20th-century London art scene. A member of the New English Art Club, he gained prominence for his technical ability to capture profound depth, light, and emotion using subdued, dark palettes.
