Provenance

Private collection

Note: Coria moved to Paris from Mexico and became a part of the artistic circle in Montparnasse before WW1 and was associated with Modigliani and Kisling. Through a friendship with Jacob Epstein he became an early member of the London Group in 1914. His work was admired by Roger Fry who purchased examples of his work. He exhibited regularly in Paris and London during the 1920s and was included in the London Group retrospective in 1928.
