Note: Born in New York, Albrizio was an influential American sculptor who taught sculpture at the University of Iowa from 1942-1952. Influenced as a young sculptor, like many of his time, by Maillol and Brancusi, he quickly developed a personal style. His work is represented widely in public collections in the USA and worldwide.
