Tyson studied at Hull Art School and the Westminster School of Art. She went on to exhibit widely, showing many times at the RA, the NEAC and The London Group. Her work was reproduced in The Times and Manchester Guardian and in Royal Academy Illustrated. Her work is held in public collections including Hull and Southampton Museums.
